Allegiant doesn't do sprawling grass-lot tailgate culture — the stadium sits pinned between I-15, the airport, and an industrial corridor, and most parking is pre-sold. Walk in. That's it — it's open to everyone, which makes it the correct move for a visiting fan with no lot pass and no local crew.
What to Expect
Raider Nation in full regalia — the costumes are a genuine spectacle — mixed heavily with whatever fanbase is visiting. Allegiant sees more visiting-fan presence than any stadium in the league, so expect the zone to be bilingual in team colors on Chiefs, Bills, and Broncos weekends.

Hit the zone when it opens at four hours out, watch the first half of the early window on the big screen, and you've had the full tailgate experience with zero logistics.

The Hacienda Bridge Walk
The pedestrian bridge over I-15 from Mandalay Bay is the closest thing the NFL has to a college walk-to-the-stadium. Leave the South Strip 60–75 minutes before kickoff, walk with the crowd, and let it build.
The Visiting-Fan Reality

The 2026 home slate is stacked with the league's heaviest-traveling fanbases, and at Allegiant that matters more than anywhere: visiting takeovers are an annual tradition here, not an upset. The Chiefs (October 4) are the loudest example — Kansas City's fanbase turns the lower bowl red every year, and it drives the biggest hotel surge of the season. Buffalo (October 18) might top it: this is Bills Mafia's first trip to a full Allegiant, and no fanbase moves more bodies per road game. The Rams (October 25) arrive as the league's consensus preseason No. 1, the Seahawks (November 15) come in as defending Super Bowl champions, and the Broncos (December 20) pair a top-two contender with a division grudge — with the December caveat that late-season kickoff times move under flex scheduling, so book refundable rooms for that one. The Chargers (December 13) are the third divisional home game and the one most likely to linger on the market. The Dolphins opener (September 13) is the first chance to see Allegiant loud and fully silver and black. One calendar note for the whole season: Vegas hotel rates swing more by citywide convention and fight calendar than by football, so a "quiet" opponent weekend can still price like a marquee one — check the city calendar before assuming.
